MY STORY

Shelby Arrington is the only child of Mr.Square and Mrs. Shirley Arrington of Atmore Alabama. Shelby grew up surrounded by her parents and maternal grandparents of which she loves dearly. After graduating from high school at the age of 16 she attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa Alabama.  Immediately after college she moved to Atlanta at the age of 20 where she resides currently.

Shelby is a 27 year employee of the Georgia lottery corporation where she works in sales and marketing. This is one of her proudest accomplishment, her efforts has contributed to the education of many children in the state of Georgia. Shelby also serves currently as a ambassador for Saint Jude children’s research hospital. Serving  as a board member for the fundraising committee for the city of Atlanta. This board has been responsible for raising over the last six years 4 million dollars. The funds go directly to Saint Jude’s children’s research Hospital making sure no parent received any bill for treatment, housing or food for parents and children. The parent should only have to concentrate on helping their children heal.

She also serves on the board of her homeowners association where she has resided for 22 years. Shelby is also very active in her house of worship, she serves as the events director taking care of all church events (retreats, anniversary celebrations)offsite and onsite.

​

She is most proud of serving as a armor bearer for the last 13 years. Shelby believes serving has been one of the greatest accomplishments of her life in terms of spiritual growth and fulfilling one of her greatest desires and that is to be a blessing to others.

​

Shelby’s greatest desire is to please our Heavenly Father through her living. She desires to operate in the purposes for which God created her.
